nFocus Software was founded in 1994 with a single goal: to exceed customer expectations by developing analytical tools that track information and build knowledge, making it possible for our customers to achieve phenomenal results. We have experienced great success over the years, as outlined by the awards we have received and these significant accomplishments:

2009

  • The Forum for Youth Investment and nFocus Software enter into a partnership agreement to bring approved accountability to youth development.
  • KidTrax® becomes TraxSolutions™.
  • General Dynamics and nFocus Software extend their Mentor-Protégé program for another three years.

2008

  • nFocus Software launches groundbreaking Outcome Measurement Toolkit™ (OMT).
  • National Institute on Out-of-School Time (NIOST) and nFocus Software partner on Integrated Youth Assessment.
  • U.S. Army licenses nFocus Software's Curriculum Management System and contracts for Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS) support.

2007

  • The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust and Valley of the Sun United Way choose nFocus Software as the technology provider for the Evaluative Learning Project, to prove the impact of afterschool programs in Maricopa County.

2006

  • nFocus Software signs a Mentor-Protégé Agreement with General Dynamics C4 Systems.

2005

  • The Department of the Army purchases nFocus Software solutions to track the training and career path of every soldier in the United States Army.

2004

  • Ontario, Canada purchases the Canadian version of KidTrax to deploy to youth facilities throughout the Province.

2003

  • KidTrax is deployed statewide in California Police Activities League (PAL) sites.
  • DonorTrax is launched, giving our clients the ability to track and manage donors and contributions.

2002

  • The web-based version of KidTrax is released and StudentTrax is launched.

2001

  • The City of Louisville, Kentucky and the Jefferson County Public Schools partner with nFocus Software to track youth participation in school enrichment programs.

2000

  • KidTrax is deployed statewide in Indiana.
  • The Illinois Alliance purchases KidTrax to track teen involvement in after-school programs throughout the state.

1998

  • nFocus Software launches a new application that provides distance learning, testing and computer-based training for large user groups.
  • nFocus Software is certified by the federal government as an 8(a), SDB, Woman-Owned Business.

1997

  • We launch an online magazine called Pro and Con, which is selected as a content provider to Netscape.

1995

  • We introduce our first commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software application, KidTrax Membership Management System.

1994

  • “nonline” launches in conjunction with Windows 95 and Microsoft Network (msn) as an information service to the general public, regarding both government and non-profit policy initiatives.
  • “nonline” is selected by msn as one of the original 120 content providers (2,600 companies are reviewed).

1993

  • In September, we begin developing industry-leading software and technology solutions for the public sector.
1984
  • The company opens its doors in 1984, providing services in the areas of event production and grant writing
